The Valencia CF Academy celebrates this 19 February the anniversary of the official inauguration of its facilities at the Ciutat Esportiva del Valencia CF in 1992 and does so backed by the figures that show the work carried out over these more than 30 years.

In this period, the Valencia CF Academy has not stopped growing until becoming a training reference point in Europe, in the top 10 clubs that produce the most players to compete in the elite, according to the latest reports by the CIES Football Observatory, a benchmark in the development of talent in Valencian football, national football and also international football.

The Valencia CF Academy has among its players 25 footballers who this 2025/26 season are internationals in the youth categories of their respective national teams, mainly with Spain, but also in countries such as Canada, Argentina, Morocco, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania or Lithuania, which also shows the international growth in attracting international talent and in training players so that they receive the call from their respective national teams.

In addition, in recent weeks the Valencia CF Academy has also incorporated players such as Amos Wanjala, senior international with Kenya, Andreas Pieri, Cyprus U-17 international, or Petar Blagoev, Bulgaria U-17 international, who in upcoming call-ups may increase the number of internationals at the Valencia CF Academy.

The number of internationals has even greater value in a Valencia CF Academy that prioritises quality over the total quantity of teams and players. That figure of 25 internationals means that 1 in 7 footballers of the Valencia CF Academy of selectable age is an international this season, which highlights the work of all the departments that make up the Valencia CF Academy in training players to compete in the elite.
